Put simply, I am an unemployed bum drifting through the limbo that swallows you up after college graduation. In more specific terms, though, I'm more
or less some kind of writer who wouldn't be able to afford the cost of basic necessities like food, shelter, toilet paper, and the internet if it weren't for
the generosity of my parents. I graduated in May 2009 and received my B.A. in Creative Writing with a minor in Classics. That's the study of the
literature/oral traditions of the Classical period for those that don't know, i.e., the Greco-Roman world. In other words, I love me some Greek and
Roman mythology with a little Egyptian mythology on the side. Doesn't make me an expert, not by a long shot, but then, I didn't seem to retain enough
technical information from my fiction writing classes to be much help to anyone else in the writing department either. My brain doesn't like to keep too
much useful information for fear of imploding in upon itself.

One might, at this point, be asking oneself why a writer with no artistic experience would ever want to subject the world to a webcomic. Well,
put simply I am what is known as an "art whore" in certain online communities. Meaning I enjoy getting art of my characters and such. But I've always wanted to be
able to draw my characters myself. So I need practice! And what better way to con myself into drawing on a regular basis--kind of a necessity for the whole practice
thing--than by drawing a webcomic! There's also the added benefit of being forced to write a story almost entirely in dialogue, which is one of the more difficult
aspects of storytelling. It's been an...experience, that's for sure. But, overall, a good one!
